God Loves Me -What are God's True Feelings For You-

Do you ever wonder how much you actually mean to God? What exactly are you worth? What is your value to God? Take a look at the following verses and see how God answers these questions…

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship (adoption). And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (Romans 8:15-17)

When we accept Christ as our Savior, we become God’s children. He adopts us and loves us as his very own children. He even promises us an inheritance as his children.

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet. (Psalm 8:3-6)

God has shown us his love by sending his only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. This is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the payment for our sins. (1 John 4:9-10)

We tend to define something as valuable by considering the price that was paid for it. You can also consider the uniqueness and the purpose of the object. So you can look at and determine your value in the same way. What price was paid for you?

We tend to define something as valuable by considering the price that was paid for it.

You are uniquely designed by God and he has a specific purpose for you. Why? Because God loves you and he has a plan for you. God paid the ultimate price for you by sending his Son to die for you. It is impossible to measure the value God places on you.

You are priceless in God’s eyes! We probably all know or have heard the verse below, but when you read it, think about what it actually means and how it truly shows God’s love for each and every one of us.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Hopefully by now you see that you are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe…God Himself! Knowing this, how do we apply these truths in our marriages? How can your share this love with your spouse?  How can your marriage show this love to your children?  How can your marriage show this love to the world you live in?
